These are my personal favourite scents – the ones I always end up melting at home. Choosing a wax melt is never just about picking something that smells nice, it is about the mood you want to create. Whether you are after something cosy, fresh, uplifting or comforting, the right scent can completely change how a space feels. These are the fragrances I love most and the ones I always suggest when someone is not sure where to start.
Fried Peaches

This scent is pure indulgence. A mouthwatering blend of caramelised peaches, juicy orange and apricot fills the air with rich fruity sweetness. Delicate orange blossom and warm vanilla soften the fragrance while brown sugar and syrup add that irresistible sticky, dessert-like depth. It is bold, comforting and completely addictive.
Hocus Pocus

This one holds a very special place in my heart because it was one of my very first favourite scents when Milestone Melts began. It is a rich Halloween fragrance that combines fresh pumpkin with creamy coconut alongside warm, spicy notes of cassia and clove. Everything rests on a decadent base of maple, precious woods and smoky bourbon, creating a scent that feels magical, cosy and just a little bit mysterious.
What a Grinch

Fresh, green and unapologetically festive. This grinchy holiday scent bursts open with bright notes of eucalyptus, citrus and crisp greenery before settling into a rich heart of pine, lavender and rosemary. A thick base of dark woods and amber grounds the fragrance, giving it depth and warmth while still keeping that sharp, clean, woodland feel.
Nutcracker

Rich, festive and full of depth. Bright lemon rind and orange are warmed by clove before leading into a heart of roast chestnut, caramel, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. A base of raisin, sandalwood, oak, sugar and nutty vanilla creates a beautifully layered scent that feels warm, elegant and perfect for cosy evenings.
Amaretto Pumpkin

This is pumpkin with a luxurious twist. Almond and hawthorn create a softly nutty and floral opening before a velvety pumpkin heart adds warmth and richness. A smooth vanilla base rounds everything out, making this fragrance creamy, comforting and irresistibly moreish.
Buttermilk Peach Donut

Sweet, fruity and deliciously cosy. Juicy peach, sweet agave and zesty orange create a bright, mouthwatering opening before creamy buttermilk and ripe apricot bring a rich bakery warmth. The base of vanilla, toasted nut and gourmand sweetness makes this smell just like freshly baked treats straight from the oven.
Soul Cleanse

Most of the scents in this list lean towards warm, spicy and bakery-style comfort, but Soul Cleanse offers something beautifully different. This is your moment of calm among all the indulgence. Bright lemon zest and sacred frankincense lift the mood while sage, eucalyptus and rose water bring a soothing, spa-like freshness. Gentle herbal and woody notes ground the fragrance, making it feel clean, peaceful and restorative.
Race Fuel

Bold, edgy and completely unique. This chemical fruity fragrance blends cherry, almond and grape with hints of gasoline, amber and sweet sugar. It is unexpected, nostalgic and strangely addictive — perfect if you love something a little different that still carries a sweet, fruity kick.
Golden Pear Harvest

Fresh yet cosy, this fragrance opens with orange peel and spiced golden pear, filling the air with warm citrusy brightness. Crisp green apple adds a fresh, tart heart before settling into a smooth base of sweetened ginger for a softly spiced, comforting finish.
Praline Pecan Pumpkin

This is autumn indulgence at its finest. Pumpkin and pecan praline create a warm, nutty opening before a heart of nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet potato and rich caramel evokes home baked goodness. The fragrance finishes with brown sugar and vanilla for a golden, comforting warmth that lingers beautifully.
I naturally gravitate towards rich, warm and slightly spicy scents with a hint of bakery sweetness mixed in. Fresh and airy fragrances are lovely too but cosy, comforting blends are always the ones that feel most me, which is why you will see so many of those styles throughout this list. That said, there is still plenty of variety at Milestone Melts, so whether like me you love rich, autumnal scents or you prefer fresh, laundry or floral fragrances, you will always find something you love, and they are always poured into unique designs and shapes to make them just as beautiful as they smell.
